Welcome to the Foundation for Access to Education Abroad! The Foundation facilitates education abroad opportunities for underserved U.S. college students. Although interest in university-level international education activities continues to grow nationally, many students and university constituencies are impeded by a lack of relevant and accessible information and programming.

The Foundation serves the needs of students including:

  • Those majoring in disciplines such as science, engineering, technology, the health professions, etc. which generally have rigidly scheduled major progressions
  • Minority and first-generation college students
  • Male students
  • Community college students
  • Students with high financial need

Explore our website to learn more about the Foundation's current activities:

  • The identification, development and management of cost-effective education abroad programs.
  • Cooperation with like-minded organizations and programs, including joint programming with university and industry partners.
  • The award of mini-grants and matching grants to support projects at the university level.

Students: Information about Spring, Summer, and Fall 2012 education abroad programs is coming soon.
